The principles that govern every story we publish.

We Hold Ourselves to One Standard: Accuracy

The Central Bulletin covers crypto, artificial intelligence, and global finance. These are domains where inaccurate reporting causes real financial harm. Our editorial standards exist not as a formality, but as the foundation of every editorial decision we make.

Every article published on this site is held to the following principles.

Source Verification

We do not publish claims we cannot verify. Every significant assertion must be traceable to at least one of the following:

  • Official statements from companies, protocols, or government bodies
  • On-chain data from verifiable blockchain explorers
  • Filings with regulatory agencies (SEC, FCA, MAS, and others)
  • Named individuals with direct knowledge of the subject
  • Reports from publications with established editorial standards

Anonymous sources are used only when there is a legitimate reason for confidentiality and when the information can be independently corroborated. When we rely on an anonymous source, we say so explicitly.

Named Sources and Attributable Data

Generic phrases such as “experts say” or “analysts believe” are not acceptable at The Central Bulletin. Every claim is attached to a named source, a dated report, or a specific data point. Readers should always be able to trace where our information came from.

Separation of News and Opinion

News articles report what happened, when it happened, and what it means. They do not advocate. Opinion and analysis pieces are labeled clearly at the top of the article. Our recurring editorial section, “The TCB View,” is always identified as original opinion and carries the author’s name.

Independence from Advertisers

Editorial coverage is never influenced by advertising relationships. No company can purchase positive coverage, influence the framing of a story, or request that a story not be published. Sponsored content, when published, is labeled prominently and kept separate from editorial content.

Corrections and Accountability

We correct errors when they occur. The correction is noted at the bottom of the affected article with the date of the update. We do not delete errors silently. See our Corrections Policy for full details.

Conflicts of Interest

Journalists and contributors at The Central Bulletin do not write about assets, companies, or protocols in which they hold a financial position without disclosing it. Disclosures appear at the top of the relevant article.

Accuracy Over Speed

We do not race to be first. We race to be right. If a story cannot be verified, it is not published until it can be.
