Our Editorial Standards

The Central Bulletin follows strict editorial standards to ensure every article is accurate, fair, and useful to readers. This page explains how we select, report, and publish content across our coverage of Web3, AI, and the digital economy.

Story Selection

We cover stories that are significant, verifiable, and relevant to readers tracking Web3, AI, and the digital economy. We do not publish press releases as news. We do not cover projects in exchange for payment, token allocation, or advertising commitments. Paid placements are clearly labeled as sponsored content and are editorially separated from our news and analysis.

Every story published on The Central Bulletin must bring at least one original element: a computed data point, a primary source statement, an on-chain finding, or a named analysis that competitors and AI tools cannot replicate elsewhere. We do not publish rewrites of press releases or summaries of stories already covered identically by other outlets.

Content Quality Standards

Every article published on The Central Bulletin must meet the following minimum standards before going live:

  • Minimum 600 words. Shorter pieces are padded with additional context, not published thin.
  • The core question or thesis is answered in the opening paragraph. Readers should not have to scroll to find the point.
  • Short paragraphs of three to four lines maximum. No walls of text.
  • Named sources, specific data points, and real publication dates for every factual claim.
  • At least eight internal links woven naturally into the body text.
  • A single call to action at the end of the article. Never multiple competing CTAs.
  • An SEO quality score above 80 out of 100 before publication.

We follow Google’s E-E-A-T framework on every piece: Experience (claims grounded in real events and real data), Expertise (precise technical language with named protocols), Authoritativeness (credible named sources), and Trustworthiness (no sensationalism, clear separation of fact from opinion).

Fact-Checking and Sourcing

Every factual claim in a The Central Bulletin article must be supported by at least one verifiable source: an on-chain data provider, a named industry source, an official protocol announcement, a regulatory filing, or a credible news publication. We name our sources wherever possible. Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when the information is significant and cannot be obtained on the record.

Price data is pulled from recognized market data providers. On-chain metrics are sourced from Dune Analytics, Glassnode, DefiLlama, or equivalent platforms, with the source cited in the article.

Independence

The Central Bulletin is independently owned and operated. We accept no investment from blockchain projects, exchanges, or crypto funds. Advertisers have no influence over editorial content. Our writers do not trade or hold positions in assets they are actively covering within a 72-hour window of publication.

AI Disclosure

The Central Bulletin uses AI tools in parts of our editorial workflow, including research assistance, drafting support, and content optimization. All content published on this site has been reviewed, edited, and approved by a human editor before going live. AI-assisted articles are flagged at the point of publication.

We do not publish AI-generated content without human review and editorial judgment applied at every stage. Our writers are responsible for all factual claims, sourcing decisions, and final editorial calls regardless of which tools were used in the process.

Opinion and Analysis

Articles labeled Analysis or Opinion represent the views of the named author, not the publication as a whole. The TCB View section, which appears at the end of deep dives and analysis pieces, is clearly labeled as editorial perspective and reflects the editorial team’s independent assessment of the topic.

Our Writers

The Central Bulletin publishes under the bylines of its editorial team. Our active contributors include Satish Chand (founder and editor), Mohana Priya, and Swati Pai. Each writer is responsible for the accuracy and sourcing of their own articles. Editorial oversight is applied across all published work.

Corrections

We correct errors promptly. When a factual error is identified, we update the article, note the correction at the bottom of the piece with a timestamp, and where appropriate publish a standalone correction. See our Corrections Policy for full details.
