Our Commitment to Transparency
The Central Bulletin may earn a commission when readers click certain links on this site and complete an action, such as signing up for a service or making a purchase through a referred link. This page explains how affiliate relationships work on TCB and how we protect editorial independence within those relationships.
How Affiliate Links Work
When you click an affiliate link, you are directed to a third-party website. If you complete a qualifying action on that site, such as opening an account or subscribing to a service, The Central Bulletin may receive a referral commission. You pay the same price you would pay without the referral link. Affiliate commissions never affect the price you pay.
Pages and articles that contain affiliate links include a disclosure notice clearly stating that affiliate links are present and that TCB may earn a commission if you sign up or purchase through them.
What Affiliate Relationships Do Not Influence
Affiliate commissions do not determine what we cover, how we cover it, or what conclusions we reach. Our editorial team does not write positive reviews in exchange for commissions. We do not include products in articles solely because of an affiliate agreement. We do not suppress critical coverage of partner companies. Affiliate partners do not review or approve content before publication.
If a product or service we have an affiliate relationship with performs poorly, carries high risk, or attracts regulatory scrutiny, we report on that independently of the commercial arrangement.
Partner Selection
The Central Bulletin maintains affiliate relationships with select crypto exchanges, portfolio management tools, and financial service providers. Each partner relationship is reviewed by our editorial team to identify potential coverage conflicts. Where a conflict exists that cannot be managed, we disclose it prominently within the relevant content.
Distinction from Sponsored Content
Affiliate links are not sponsored content. Sponsored content is paid placements where a company pays for an article or post to be published. Affiliate relationships are performance-based arrangements where TCB earns a commission only if a reader completes an action. Both types of commercial content are disclosed, but they are governed by separate policies. See our Sponsored Content Policy for details on paid placements.
