Paid content is always labeled. Editorial content is never for sale.
Our Policy in One Sentence
If a company paid for it, we say so.
What Is Sponsored Content
Sponsored content is any article, feature, interview, video, or newsletter section that was commissioned and paid for by a third party. At The Central Bulletin, sponsored content may be published when it meets the following criteria:
- It is clearly labeled “Sponsored” or “Partner Content” at the top of the page
- It is disclosed in any distribution channel where it appears
- It is not designed to look like organic editorial content
- It complies with applicable advertising standards and disclosure regulations
What Sponsored Content Is Not
Sponsored content is not a news article. It is not an investigative piece. It is not a review written by our editorial team. No sponsored piece carries a TCB journalist’s byline as if it were independent reporting.
What We Will Not Publish
- Content making unverifiable claims about returns, yield, or price performance
- Content promoting products or services that would harm TCB readers
- Content that conflicts with applicable financial promotion regulations
- Content that requires us to suppress or alter editorial coverage
Sponsored Content Does Not Influence Editorial Coverage
A company that purchases sponsored content on TCB receives no preferential treatment in our editorial coverage. Our newsroom operates independently of our commercial team.
Press Releases
Press releases submitted to TCB are reviewed by the editorial team. Publication of a press release is an editorial decision, not a commercial one. We do not charge for press release coverage and do not guarantee publication.
